Daisy’s first ear taping.

Daisy is a new member to my family. She is a Shetland Sheepdog or many call it a Sheltie. They look exactly the same as Lassie but are smaller. Lassie are Rough Collie and weight about 50-60 lbs and are consider a large breed but Sheltie’s are consider small to medium breed and weight from 15-30 lbs when fully grown.

I have Daisy’s ears taped because I don’t want her ears to be erect when she is fully grown. AKC show standard is to have tipped ears and plus I like it better tipped. Here are some photos.

She didn’t really like the tape and started to scratch it off but she got used to it after a day.

Don’t worry no dogs were harmed during the taping session.

About Kenneth ng

Hello!! Kenneth here. A thing or two about me eh? My friends tell me that I'm very likable. I'm very goofy and makes funny noise to get attention. I have always loved photography ever since I was a young boy but it was not until recently I had discovered a passion for it. It all started when I was asked to help my friend take some photos of his graduation with his DSLR camera. I'm a huge, HUGE lover of animals. I would stop by any pet store I see while driving and spend hours shopping for my pets and looking through every single isle. I've been photographing pets since 2009 and love every moment I spend with them. If you love animals just as much as I do, then I think we will hit it off.
